The rescue team from Eskisehir reacted with disbelief to the sounds coming from the building’s huge pile of rubble and immediately activated all their resources to try to reach the point where the little girl had been for all these 33 hours without water or food.
The scene of the rescue was filmed on a mobile phone and made the rounds of the Turkish media in a few minutes, giving emotion and hope to a country that has been suspended between apprehension and mourning since yesterday.
