Abu Dhabi: A 32-year-old Arab woman filed a false report against her ex-boyfriend, the woman will be jailed for three years in the UAE and fined 1000 dirhams. The UAE court also ordered the deportation of the woman after her sentence.
A 32-year-old woman filed a complaint alleging that she was sexually assaulted by her ex-boyfriend. But following the complaint, the complainant withdrew from the allegations raised during the investigation by the public prosecution. The woman revealed that she raised the allegation to take revenge on her boyfriend who left her.
Meanwhile, the ex-boyfriend told the court that the violent behavior of the complainant led to the separation. There has been a situation where he had to separate from the complainant before. The complainant had deceived her by raising the false fact that she was pregnant. But later he came to know that he had lied so that he would not leave. Although they started living together again, the complainant continued with her violent behavior.
The young man then informed the court that he decided to leave the complainant. He also told the court that he was shocked by the complaint of sexual harassment made by the complainant against him.
