Russia’s war on Ukraine has been going on for almost a year. While there has been a huge loss of life on both sides in this war, Western countries including the United States and England have been providing military aid and economic aid in support of Ukraine.
Meanwhile, US Vice President Kamala Harris has traveled to Germany. Speaking at a meeting held in Munich, he said that Russia had committed the worst war crimes in the war on Ukraine.
Continuing, he said, “The Russian army has carried out a terrible attack on the civilians in Ukraine. The Russian army has carried out torture on the civilians including murder, rape, beating and electrocution.
Thousands of people have been forcibly deported from Ukraine to Russia. Many children are separated from their families.
We have been witnessing the atrocities of the Russian army since the first day of the war. The evidence we have in this regard proves that the Russian military has committed crimes against humanity in Ukraine.”
