Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that appropriate action will be taken regarding the killing of a Sri Lankan national in Pakistan.
In his Twitter post, he expressed his condolences to the Prime Minister of Sri Lanka Mahinda Rajapaksa who arrived in the United Arab Emirates for the killing of Sri Lankan Priyantha Diyawathana.
Imran Khan also assured that the killers of Diyawatana would be severely punished. Police have arrested 100 people in connection with the shooting death of Priyantha, a factory manager in Sialkot, Pakistan, by a mob for allegedly tearing up a religious poster.
