Bali: Indian hopeful PV Sindhu lost in the World Badminton Tour Finals title fight. Sindhu lost to South Korea’s Ansi Young in straight games. In the final of the tournament, in which only the top eight players of the season compete, Sindhu lost 21-16, 21-12.

Prior to this, Sindhu had reached the finals of the World Tour Finals in 2017 and 2018. Despite losing in the final in 2017, Sindhu made a good comeback by lifting the title in 2018. Sindhu has yet to beat South Korean star Young. The two have competed twice before, but both times the win was with the South Korean.
