Dubai: The Professional League 2023, a part of Acafe Fiesta, was launched by movie star Anish G. Menon performed. Former Kerala cricket captain Sonny Cheruvathur unveiled the trophy. Momo in Dubai director Amin Aslam, child actor Atreya Baiju and others were present.
ACAF Chairman Shahul Hameed, President Charles Paul, APL General Convenor Shibu Muhammad, ACAF Sports Fiesta General Convener Satish Kumar and ACAF Women’s Chairperson Rani Sudhir also spoke. Former Indian player S. Sreesanth will be the ambassador. From February 22 to March 19, 32 teams will face each other at the Vision Cricket Club ground. Eight women’s teams will participate. ACAF Secretary Manoj welcomed and ACAF Treasurer Judin Fernandes gave a vote of thanks at the function held at Sharjah Wanderers Club.
