Many surfers in Iran reported this evening (Thursday) about a series of explosions that were heard in the city of Karaj, west of Tehran. The documentation at the Social Security Authority in the country shows that after the explosions, the air defense system was activated and launched about 10 missiles. According to some reports, two compounds of the Revolutionary Guards were bombed, and in one of them apparently there were casualties.

At the moment, the report has no official confirmation, but sources in the Revolutionary Guards claim that it is an “exercise of the Iranian air defense system that was planned in advance.”

As you may recall, in June two years ago, it was reported in Iran that unmanned aircraft had hit a factory for the production of aluminum blades that rotate in centrifuges in a facility located in the city. It was later reported in the “New York Times” that the attack on the nuclear facility was carried out by a drone launched from Iran. The Atomic Energy Agency of Iran claimed that no damage was caused in the incident and there were no casualties.

According to foreign reports, last month an attack was carried out in Isfahan attributed to Israel. In an advertisement on Iranian television, the roof of the bombed building was shown, and according to the official claim, it suffered “only minor damage”. According to a report in the New York Times this week, despite the Iranian publicity, the attack attributed to Israel was “crowned as a success”.
