In Armenia, a burial was found dating back to 1300-1200 BC. Archaeologists found in it the remains of a man and a woman, who were probably a couple. This is reported by Nauka w Polsce.

The burial was discovered in the ancient city-fortress of Metsamor. The remains are very well preserved.

The couple died at the age of 30-40.

“Their death is a mystery, because we do not know its causes. But everything points to the fact that they died at the same time, since there are no traces of the re-opening of the tomb, ”said archaeologist Krzysztof Jakubiak.

The tomb itself was rich: hundreds of beads and gold pendants, carnelian pendants, ceramic vessels and a faience flask

The identity of the deceased is still being determined, there are no clues.
