Amazon is reportedly planning to sell products from 200 women entrepreneurs

Amazon is reportedly planning to launch its products in its international market to encourage women entrepreneurs and has partnered with global incubator Womeninnovator for this purpose.

With this, it is said that the products of women entrepreneurs such as Kitsy Vinci, Visala Naturals, Gems & Jewels and Bunko Django can now be sold more on Amazon. Over the next two years, women-owned brands in apparel, beauty products, jewelry, cooking spices, health care and other ready-to-wear sectors will be integrated into Amazon and its e-commerce platform Amazon Global Selling, Amazon said.

Women entrepreneurs will also be given guidance on skill development, product listing and pricing for these brands, it said. Bhupen Wakkankar, Global Trade Director, Amazon India, while speaking to the media said, ‘Amazon is now opening export opportunities for Indian entrepreneurs and we will ensure that by 2025 we will export goods worth 20 billion dollars from India through e-commerce.

He also said that you can contact us because it is very easy to export all kinds of business in Amazon India. He has said that he has decided to sell the products produced by small industries, which are an important part of the Indian economy, through Amazon and we will help export about 30 percent of India’s gross domestic product from India.

He also mentioned that as few industries are strong in India after agriculture, we will do our best to develop the small and medium enterprise sector. He said that more than one lakh exporters across India are exporting their products to around 200 countries around the world and the total export sales are over 5 billion and Amazon plans to increase this figure to 20 billion dollars by 2025.

He also said that we will give priority to exporting products of women workers.
