Paddy harvesting and harvesting has stopped. But in Edatva, the harvest itself has been stopped. Harvesting was stopped at 11.30 am in Kaniyamkadav Padasekara, which is under Edatva Krishi Bhawan. The machines were stopped for a few workers who were permanent workers in the field to go to the program. In the morning, 7 machines were brought down for harvesting. The machines were driven by laborers from Tamil Nadu and Andhra but were not allowed to harvest.

But harvesting is going on in some nearby paddies. On the occasion of so much crisis, there is a protest against the interruption of harvesting, but they are not ready to respond. The reason is fear of disruption in rice procurement. But party workers on the opposition side say that the party has been instructed to get more people to participate, thinking that the number of people will decrease due to sectarianism.
