‘The waste is not burned; ‘Chemicals in organic waste cause fire’

by time news

Zonta Infratech MD Rajkumar Chellappan Pillai said that the plastic waste in the Brahmapuram Waste Management Center was not burnt. If the waste is burned, the contracted company will incur huge losses. Zonta has not taken a contract to dispose of plastic waste. Rajkumar also said that the company suffered loss due to burning of garbage.

“The tender was won legally. Has prior experience in biomining. Biomining is 32% complete so far. There is a conspiracy to blame the company for the Brahmapuram fire. Behind the allegations are some other companies in the same field. A company that competed for the tender is suspicious. But now it is not said who it is” – he said.

He also said that the two letters which said that there was a fire warning were fake. “So two letters have not been received. Corporation hunting with non-existent letter. It is not the contracting company that has to prepare the fire fighting system. The cause of fire is the chemicals in organic waste. Brahmapuram has ten times more organic waste than plastic waste. It is not Zonta Infratech that has to process organic waste,” he added.
