New Delhi: India’s Sakshi has advanced to the quarter-finals of the ongoing Women’s World Boxing Championship. In the pre-quarterfinal round, she defeated Jazira Urakbayeva of Kazakhstan 5-0.

Sakshi stunned the player who played against him by not allowing him to counter-attack. He had won a bronze medal in the last 2021 Asian Championship. He has now advanced to the quarter-finals in the 52 kg category. It is reported that her performance in this match was similar to that of Dancing Rose in the movie Sarbhata Paramparai. So has his performance in the ring.

“I played better than I expected in this match. Jazira Uragbayeva is a great boxer. So I thought this match would last a long time anyway. But, my strategy paid off. Because of that I was able to dominate the game,” said Sakshi.
