The Pentagon is investigating Air Force-1 Boeing’s safety certification lapses.
On March 14, Boeing discovered that proof of American citizenship and authenticity, known as “Yankee White,” issued to about 250 employees working on Air Force One planes had expired.
“When Boeing discovered this administrative issue, we quickly notified the Air Force,” a Boeing spokesperson said.
