Washington:
The US is currently experiencing some of the worst weather on record. Most of the provinces there are facing snow storms.
A recent blizzard hit the state of California. The windows of many houses and offices were damaged. Electricity was cut off at various places due to the collapse of power poles. Due to this, many cities in San Francisco and surrounding areas were plunged into darkness and the normal life of people was affected.
Due to this blizzard, the streets of San Francisco were covered in snow everywhere. There was so much snow that the cars parked on the roads were hidden. This resulted in traffic congestion on the main roads of the city.
It took hours for the ambulances to come and go. So many people were suffering and could not even go to the hospital. Now things are back to normal.
More than 700 trees fell in this blizzard. 2 people died when these trees fell. Also 3 people died due to extreme cold. Some were also injured. The rescue team rescued them and admitted them to the hospital for treatment.
The government has warned people especially the elderly and children not to come out of their homes due to this life-threatening snow storm.
