Trudeau said that, like the United States, Canada has provided “significant military support” to Ukraine, such as artillery, ammunition, armored vehicles and tanks. According to him, the Canadian armed forces have been training Ukrainian servicemen since 2015.
“As you well know, Mr. President, Canada will continue to stand firmly by Ukraine, no matter what the cost,” Trudeau said. “Together, we are both partners that Ukraine – and the world – can count on,” he added. .
“Let us once again confirm that we will keep the torch of freedom burning brightly and we will support the Ukrainian people,” US President Joe Biden added.
