Delhi Capitals team director Sourav Ganguly has said that Prithvi Shah is ready to play for the Indian team.
Prathwisha, a young player who was selected for the Delhi Capitals in 2018 after showing a very good performance in the Under-19 World Cup series, has been considered as one of the main players of the Delhi team since that year till now.
The sensational Prithvi Shah has impressed everyone with his triple century in the recently concluded Ranji Trophy, having been superb in both the domestic IPL series.
But it is very difficult for him to get a permanent place in the Indian team. Due to this, former players and cricket experts are expressing their opinions in support of him that he will once again ensure his place in the Indian team by showing a very good performance in the upcoming 2023 IPL series.
Sourav Ganguly, the director of the Delhi Capitals team and the former secretary of the Indian team, said in a press conference that Prithvisha is ready to play in the Indian team.
Ganguly said, “Now it seems that Prithvisha is ready to play for the Indian team. If he gets an opportunity at any place, he will definitely make the most of it. Also Indian team captain Rohit Sharma and Indian team selectors are keeping an eye on him. Ganguly had said that Prithvi Shah is a very good player and he is ready to play for the Indian team.
It is also worth noting that the head coach of the Delhi team, Ricky Ponting, commented on Prithvisha’s performance in this year’s IPL series.
