The UFR and the Mal-calée Traoré no longer give each other gifts

by time news

For what days, the Union of Republican Forces and the Mal-calée Traoré have been engaged in a merciless “war”. The facilitator accuses the president of the UFR of having opposed his entry into government in 2008. The party denies it and claims to have been presented with a fait accompli at the time.

She began her activism at the UFR in the 2000s. Dame Ill-calée Traoré remained there until 2010, after having climbed all the levels, to the point of finding herself in the national executive office of the party. Her adventure within this political party ended in 2010 against the backdrop of accusations between her and the UFR. Today, the Mal-calée Traoré is the facilitator of the framework of the inter-Guinean dialogue… But the controversy has resurfaced for a few days, and the clashes between the two camps are making the headlines of the press and social networks.

It all started with the request for recusal of the facilitators made by the UFR during its last general assembly. The party believes that the boss of the PACT (Party of Citizen Action through Work) is no longer neutral and is no longer in a position to carry out negotiations between the junta and the political actors. A “relative” to the facilitator accused Sid of the UFR of harboring a visceral hatred against the facilitator and of having maneuvered quietly to prevent him from being minister. The Sid of the UFR would have “blocked his Curriculum vitae”. The UFR did not digest the accusation, including without high sphere. The party, through its Com cell, split a declaration to heavily charge the Mal-calée. Regarding his entry into the government of Kou-raté, the UFR claims to have been presented with a fait accompli, but that would not have “pushed the party to exclude him. It was necessary, following the events of September 28, for Makalé Traoré to set up a group of women to go to Abuja, give their support to the CNDD and deny the existence of the women raped and the women killed at the September 28 stadium, so that the decision of his exclusion is taken by the National Executive Bureau (BEN) of the UFR”.

This exclusion, Makalé Traoré does not recognize it. Rather, she says she resigned long before, because of “lack of support” from her president. In her circulating letter of resignation, the facilitator accuses Sid of the UFR of having refused to put an end to the rumor, according to which she had traveled to Abuja in Nigeria to support the CNDD of El Dadis: “I do not understand that he did not believe he had to reassure his peers about the activities of our network in order to avoid misinformation about our mission in Abuja. His silence allowed an unhealthy interpretation of our efforts before, during and after the events of September 28, 2009. We simply felt that we had to renew the dialogue, despite the depth of the wounds and necessarily include the reform of the armed forces in the resolution of the Guinean crisis”. Here is a standoff that is likely to continue.
