KYIV. March 31. UNN. The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine updated the list of priority areas of innovative activity to the current needs of the period of martial law and the needs of Ukraine’s recovery. This is reported by the Government portal, transmits UNN.

“In accordance with the current needs of the period of martial law, the needs of Ukraine’s recovery and the current state of science and innovation, the list of medium-term priority areas of innovative activity at the national level has been updated, and their implementation has been extended to 2023. This decision was made at the regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on March 30, 2023,” the message reads.

It is reported that the document approves directions for all strategic areas of innovative activity defined by legislation, which concern the sphere of energy, strategic areas of industry, in particular the defense-industrial complex, new technologies for the production of materials, the agro-industrial complex, medicine, environmental protection, the development of modern information and communication technologies, robotics, etc.

“To update the list of priority areas of innovative activity, the results of a predictive and analytical study were used, in which scientists and representatives of the real sector of the economy actively participated, as well as proposals of an expert group, which included, in particular, leading scientists of scientific institutions of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and national industry academies sciences, other scientific institutions and institutions of higher education,” the message states.
