In late 2019, French artist and illustrator Nicolas Jolivot decided that three decades of traveling around the globe was enough for him, and he settled in a family country house, where his father and grandfather had lived before him. He then began a project consisting of the meticulous documentation of the garden of the house, a space that he looked at as if it had been the first time, with the same sense of wonder with which he had visited China, Uganda or Ethiopia.
