Turbine test run successfully completed at the second power unit of the Belarusian NPP

The press service of the engineering division of the state corporation “Rosatom” announced the successful trial run of the turbine, which took place at power unit No. 2 of the Belarusian NPP.

The rotors of the turbine unit were brought to the nominal idle speed, the report says. The design values ​​are 3,000 rpm.

After the measurements, the experts came to the conclusion that all parameters, including the vibration state, were normal during the start-up.

Tests have become one of the most important stages before the start of the operation of the unit, the press service said.
