The second edition “A Way Together” has come to an end, the project by Janssen Italia, the pharmaceutical company of the Johnson & Johnson group, which involved 5 excellences of Italian infectious disease with the aim of shedding light on the importance that vaccines have coated in human history.


The five protagonists of this edition edition – Prof. Cristina Mussini, Director of the Complex Structure of Infectious Diseases AO University of Modena, Prof. Giovanni Di Perri, Head of Infectious Diseases ‘Amedeo di Savoia’ Hospital in Turin, Prof. Antonella Castagna, Associate Professor of Infectious Diseases of the Vita-Salute San Raffaele University, Prof. Andrea Gori, Director of the UO Complex Professor of Infectious Diseases – University of Milan and Prof. Carlo Federico Perno, Director of the Department of Microbiology, Irccs Children’s Hospital Jesus of Rome – have traced a path in which, sharing their experiences, they told how the progress of research has allowed us to eradicate some pathologies with which humanity has come to terms for centuries and what the future holds.

“The value of a project like A Way Together lies precisely in the fact that these experts have listened to complementary points of view on many aspects related to infectious diseases, especially at a time when the clarity of information and the authoritativeness of the sources are more than ever crucial ”- explained Loredana Bergamini, Medical Director of Janssen Italy. “We are living in a period that is truly out of the ordinary which certainly has very heavy repercussions on all aspects of our lives, both personally and as a community.
