Company Russian Cosmonauts Roscosmos in the International Space Station (ISS), Sergey Prokopyev and Dmitri Petelinhave completed the first spacewalk this year after seven hours and 55 minutes outside the complex.

Prokopyev and Petelin have been able to complete the main objectives of the expedition, which included the relocation of a radiator from the module Rassvet to the Russian scientific module Science. The mission has ended successfully and has been broadcast live on NASA TV.

This has been the fourth spacewalk in Prokopyev’s career and the second for Petelin, who are included in the 260 missions that have been carried out for reasons of assembly, maintenance and updating of the space station.

Both cosmonauts will go out into space again on April 25 to move an experimental airlock from Rassvet to Nauka. In addition, an additional expedition is planned for May 4 to deploy the radiator in Nauka and connect the mechanical, electrical and hydraulic lines.
