In Sriv., He said: Tamil Thai greeting is the greeting song of our Tamil soil, Tamilnadu. Every Tamil should stand up and pay homage whenever this sounds. Every Tamil should pay homage just as children do when the national anthem is sung in schools. No one should come to tell, instruct or ask. Wherever the Tamil Thai greeting sounds, the feeling of having to stand up should develop in our blood. At the same time, temples, monasteries and athenas have a tradition of several thousand years. Such a tradition should not be changed, he said.
