Thousands of people marched on the presidential palace to condemn the military rule in Sudan. The Sudanese people, who have been under military control since 2019, have been protesting for a full – fledged democratic government.

Thousands of people flocked to the Presidential Palace to mark the 3rd anniversary of the ongoing protests against the military. People chanted slogans in their memory as 45 people have been killed in the protests so far.

The army and paramilitary forces, who had earlier been engaged in security operations on the main roads and in the Presidential Palace area, dispersed the people by throwing tear gas canisters.
