Analysts from the Institute for the Study of War remind that only the Belarusian dictator Lukashenko arrived in Moscow for the parade, but also the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, as well as the presidents of four countries: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.

The most interesting thing is that the leaders of these four countries only at the last moment gave the go-ahead to attend the parade in the capital of the Russian Federation, ISW informs.

Experts say that the presidents of Central Asia were initially reserved about the events of the war in Ukraine itself and at the same time tried not to be led by the Kremlin.

Analysts point out that Vladimir Putin is trying to use the Moscow Victory Parade to showcase Russia’s continued influence in Central Asia.

Initially, Putin was not going to take part in the parade, and he planned to make a speech from his office online. Now, when at least one of the leaders of other countries has arrived in Moscow, he is ready to make a speech live.
