Kollam: District Collector Afzana Parveen has said that various levels of financial assistance will be provided to the dependents of those who died due to Kovid. Special camps will be organized at taluk level for processing of applications without delay. The camps will be at taluk / village level with the help of Akshaya Kendras. There are plans to pay Rs 50,000 to the heirs of the deceased and Rs 5,000 per month to BPL dependents for 3 years. Such funding began.
