Coimbatore: More than 500 people, including H Raja, were arrested in a protest by BJP and Hindu Front activists in Coimbatore condemning the assassination of a BJP executive in Kerala.
The Hindu Front and the BJP staged a protest in front of Bharathiar University near Coimbatore, condemning the assassination of Bharathiyar University vice-chancellor Kaliraj and the assassination of a BJP executive in Kerala.
The protest was attended by former BJP national general secretary H Raja and Hindu Front state general secretary Kishore Kumar.
It is reprehensible that Suba Veerapandian held a seminar on women’s rights inside the Bharathiyar University campus while H Raja was speaking at the demonstration. University Vice Chancellor Vander, who spoke like that, says he would have put on a black shirt myself and participated.
It is a mistake to say that he was a deputy. Therefore, the Vice Chancellor of Bharathiyar University should resign as he is responsible for this incident. Otherwise apologize publicly.
Let him resign the job and put on the black shirt. Let’s go to Tika. But he should not have held a ceremony like this on the university campus. I will make a request to the Governor of Tamil Nadu RN Ravi in this regard. As many as 500 protesters, including H Raja, were arrested by police and taken to a van.
