National Netherlands, Company of the NN Group which offers short, medium and long-term protection, savings and investment solutions to more than 850,000 customers in Spain, has renewed thecollaboration agreement maintained since 2016 with the Center for High Performance Sports (CAR) of Sant Cugat del Vallès (Barcelona), according to which the insurer will continue to form and incorporate, in its team of insurance agents exclusive, young people who practice various sports disciplines in the field of competition and who are attached to the job board of this center.

The goal of Nationale-Nederlanden, with this agreement, is help young athletes to enter the labor marketin providing-the l‘exercising a task that facilitates and allows you to reconcile your participation in sports competitions. To this end, the Company will continue to offer the necessary means to support the comprehensive training of athletes at the High Performance Center from the Catalan town, placing special emphasis, not only on what is strictly sporting, but also on their academic training.

This collaboration agreement also includes the sponsorship, by the Company of Dutch origin, of the CAR Speakers program, which disseminates the sports values ​​in the business sector through highly competitive athletes.

Nationale-Nederlanden’s commercial network growth plan

The renewal of the agreement is part of the ambitious growth plan of the commercial network that Nationale-Nederlanden has for the coming years. Nationale-Nederlanden participated in the day ‘From competition to management’, which took place last May 17 at the CAR of Sant Cugat del Vallès. The meeting, which was attended by the director of the CAR, Ramon Terrassa i Cusí, who opened the day, and Vicente Pérez, territorial director of the Nationale-Nederlanden area, addressed, through different speakers, business experiences in which the regular practice of sport has been an important factor when it comes to leading people and work teams.

Next, the round table on business experiences took place, moderated by Pep Marí, head of the CAR SPEAKER’S area, and in which Kiko Fàbregues, former field hockey player and director of Call2World, participated; Mireia Clemente, former alpine ski athlete and consultant in people management at AMTTE; and Joshua Jové, ex-weightlifter and executive and delegate at Nationale-Nederlanden. The participants highlighted the importance of playing sport and its direct relationship with better exercise and professional leadership. Likewise, they presented several examples of how in companies the practice of sport has turned out to be a great motivator for workers.
