The source said that the test launch of the Angara-A5 heavy launch vehicle, which was to take place on December 24 at the Plesetsk cosmodrome, was postponed due to a failure in the ground complex.

“A minute and a half before the Angara launch, an automation team was formed to retract the launch,” the source said, adding that everything is in order with the missile itself, and the cancellation took place precisely because of a malfunction in the ground complex.

At the same time, earlier in the rocket and space industry it was reported that since the launch is a test one, a launch window was allocated for it from 23 to 27 December.

The specific start date is determined by the state commission immediately before the start.
