WABetaInfo: WhatsApp is preparing a function for sending video messages
The developers of the WhatsApp messenger (owned by Meta, which is recognized as an extremist organization and banned in Russia) is testing the function of sending video messages on iOS and Android operating systems. The upcoming new video feature is reported by the WABetaInfo portal.
In the latest beta versions for iOS and Android, you will be able to share videos up to 60 seconds long, the portal said.
The feature is currently available to a limited number of beta testers. And gradually – over the coming weeks – will be available to more and more users.
To send video messages, as noted, end-to-end encryption is used – no one outside the dialogue (including WhatsApp) will be able to access them.
