Azerbaijan and Turkey are clearly taking the line that all kinds of issues can be solved by war, coercion of force, Armen Rustamyan, a member of the “Armenia” faction, told journalists in the National Assembly today.
“Now they have demonstrated that power, they have seen that there is an indefensible situation against that power, they have become even more insolent. Azerbaijan has its own plan with Turkey. They will try to take advantage of the created geopolitical situation and try to extract everything possible from Armenia,” said Armen Rustamyan.
According to the MP, this situation will continue until the Armenian side shows that it can defend itself.
“But these authorities are doing everything to weaken us and create the impression that we are powerless, incompetent and should simply accept all the demands that the enemy puts before us. We say no, the Armenian people are not powerless, there is an alternative, we can simply defend ourselves, as it has been for centuries. “We did not appear in this region,” Armen Rustamyan said.
