Satellite TV MTS stopped broadcasting the main Russian TV channels. In particular, since mid-spring the channels of the VGTRK group have not been working, NTV has not been working for more than a month, and the broadcasting of Channel One has been working with a “freeze”. A user of satellite TV from MTS complained to Vedomosti about this. The MTS hotline operator confirmed to a Vedomosti correspondent that the broadcast of the channels of the VGTRK group (Rossiya 1, Rossiya 24, Kultura) had ceased since March 17, 2023.
Users in social networks have been writing about the disappearance of Russian TV channels on the MTS plate since April. According to Aleksey Rabin, expert of the National Technological Initiative on Telecommunications and Artificial Intelligence, to date, failures in the operation of the MTS Satellite TV application have been registered in 54 regions of the country.
