Title: Father and Son Arrested in Turkey After Jumping off Parked Plane at Istanbul Airport

Subtitle: The two passengers attempted to stop the plane after missing their flight to Tel Aviv

Two Israeli passengers were apprehended in Turkey today after a bizarre incident unfolded at Sabiha Gacaken Airport in Istanbul. The father and son duo took matters into their own hands and jumped off the sleeve of a plane that was parked in the airport’s parking lot. As a result, they were promptly arrested by field workers and police.

The father and son, part of a family of five, had missed their scheduled flight to Tel Aviv and resorted to desperate measures in an attempt to halt the plane’s departure. As the aircraft was being prepared to be towed, the two passengers forcibly opened the sleeve doors and leaped down onto the pavement below.

Sabiha Gacaken Airport staff and law enforcement officials swiftly responded to the incident, apprehending the two individuals. The reasons behind their drastic actions remain unclear at this stage.

It is worth noting that news of this incident comes in the wake of another high-profile case involving Israeli passengers in Turkey. A group of nine Israelis had recently been arrested on allegations of sexually harassing a flight attendant from Pegasus Airlines. Six of these individuals have already returned to Israel, with the remaining three set to be repatriated tomorrow from the city of Urfa, located on the Turkish border with Syria.

Eli, one of the detainees from the previous incident, spoke to News 13 about the alleged harassment. He claimed that upon boarding the plane, they sensed animosity from the flight attendant. One of his companions, David, had inadvertently taken a picture of her during an emergency procedures explanation. The flight attendant demanded that the image be deleted, which David promptly did. Eli further stated that they burst into laughter, along with other passengers, prompting the flight attendant to accuse them of sexual harassment.

The Istanbul airport authorities are expected to release further details on the arrest of the father and son, shedding light on their motivations and any potential charges they may face.
