A group of Armenians living in Europe staged a protest in front of the EU office in Armenia today and delivered a letter to the office addressed to the President of the European Council, Charles Michel.

“We raise our voice and express our disapproval of the processes that are taking place under the EU’s “patronage”. Violating the interests of Armenia and Artsakh, they actually protect the interests of Azerbaijan.

As Armenians and taxpayers living there, we wrote a letter, and since I am now in Armenia, we decided to hand over that letter here,” German resident Arpine Kocharyan told reporters.

According to him, the letter refers to the interests of Artsakh Armenians.

“As we understand, there is no line about the interests of Artsakh Armenians in the peace agreement. In the letter, we noted that ethnic cleansing is expected with that agreement, and an institution like the EU should not “stand blindly” to this genocidal agreement,” said Arpine Kocharyan.

It was noted that the letter addressed to Charles Michel was signed by 1221 Europeans.
