Zelensky returns from Türkiye with the commanders of the Azov battalion – Libero Quotidiano

The Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky returned to Ukraine from Turkey with 5 Azov battalion commanders who had been released from Russian captivity in September 2022 and were being held in Turkey as part of a prisoner exchange between Moscow and Kiev. The liberated Ukrainian soldiers who defended the Azovstal steel works in Mariupol during the first months of the war are Denys Prokopenko, Svyatoslav Palamar, Serhiy Volynskyi, Oleh Khomenko and Denys Shleha.
