The British Embassy in Armenia made a statement about the activities of the International Committee of the Red Cross in the South Caucasus.
“For years, the International Committee of the Red Cross has carried out extremely important work in the South Caucasus, including in the Lachine Corridor, where their work supports local populations to have access to essential goods and services, including life-saving medicines and health services.
The United Kingdom Government strongly supports the activities and ongoing work of the International Committee of the Red Cross. The United Kingdom calls on all parties to refrain from the politicization of humanitarian assistance,” the statement said.
