Lozo Avenir at the heart of IGA promotion in Lebamba

The Lozo Avenir association continues its social activities throughout Gabon. In the Louétsi-Wano department, particularly in Lébamba and Bongolo, it promotes income-generating activities. It acts in favor of the empowerment of women in rural areas. Thus, the members of the said association trained a group of people in artisanal baking and community tourism.
The Lozo Avenir association has always campaigned and is still campaigning for the well-being, not only of young people in rural areas, but also of economically weak people in Gabon. The said association continues its activities in the department of Louétsi Wano, specifically in Lébamba and Bongolo. It continues to promote and encourage people to engage in income-generating activities.
Encouraging and promoting IGAs for Lozo Avenir means helping women strive towards their empowerment. These women, seated on the benches of the school, listen attentively and take notes. The trainers teach them to mix the flour, to master the mixture, the dosage, and above all to mix all the contents to obtain an appreciable and edible result at the end.
The Lozo Avenir association strives to support these women and young people to achieve financial autonomy and self-employment. She believes it is better to teach them how to fish than to offer them fish. “We learn new things that can allow us to be financially free. These trainings are free and the trainers are people of good faith who want our happiness.“says Jeanne, who came to learn.
On the spot, the leaders of this association affirm that “there is pleasure in doing good, there is pleasure in giving than in receiving. They know one thing, God in his Immensity, gives us enough strength to do good for the love of good.“. Lozo Avenir continues to take actions that give or restore hope to young people and women who had lost faith in the future.
