Date of two manned launches of Russia in 2022 announced

The launch of the Soyuz MS-21 manned spacecraft with three Russian cosmonauts is scheduled for the evening of March 18. According to Roskosmos, the Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle will deliver Oleg Artemyev, Denis Matveyev and Sergei Korsakov into orbit.

The backup crew includes Sergei Prokopiev, Anna Kikina and Dmitry Petelin.

The corporation plans to make the second manned launch on September 21.
