The preparation of panna cotta
Soak the gelatine in cold water according to the instructions on the packet. Wash and clean the strawberries and cut into pieces. Put 2 tablespoons aside.Put the strawberries and sugar in a saucepan.Pour in the cream and simmer gently for five minutes.Pure the strawberries and the hot cream in a blender.Squeeze out the gelatine and dissolve in the strawberry mixture.Fill the strawberry cream in molds and leave to stand for at least four hours place in the fridge. Decorate the panna cotta with the remaining strawberries and serve.
Tip: Strawberry pannacotta goes particularly well as a relatively hearty dessert with a light, Mediterranean grill menu with lots of vegetables, fish and fresh salads.
