Cyprus has tightened anti-coronavirus restrictions – everyone arriving on the island will have to present a negative PCR test, the innovation concerns both passengers vaccinated against coronavirus. This is reported by the publication Kathimerini Cyprus with reference to the country’s Ministry of Health.

“The new measures come into force on 4 January. All passengers, regardless of their vaccination status, will need to present a negative PCR test at entry, taken 48 hours before arrival, ”the newspaper notes.

Also, all arrivals will have to pass another PCR test already in Cyprus and at their own expense. At the same time, the ministry has compiled a list of more than 60 countries, arriving from which must pass an antigen test after 72 hours from the moment of arrival. This list includes, in particular, Russia, European countries, the United States and the United Arab Emirates.
