South Africa set a 240-run target for victory in the second Test of the India-South Africa Test series at Wanderers. India were bowled out for 266 in the second innings. India took a 239-run lead. Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane’s half – centuries and Hanuma Vihari’s 40 not out gave India the lead.

For South Africa, Kagiso Rabada, Lungi Ngidi and Marco Johnson took three wickets each while Duane Olivier took the remaining two wickets.

India, who won the first Test, can win the series if they win this match. However, with two days left, South Africa will be aiming for a slow victory and victory in the series.
