Expertise from Brazil will be shared at a conference on the 13th and 14th of September in Maputo, Mozambique
The financial and banking system of 54 African countries must be standardized in the coming years and Brazil’s experience is one of the references. This is a significant opportunity for Brazilian entrepreneurs in the technology sector and fintechs to invest in presenting solutions for the scenario of African countries.
The main focus is the modernization of banking systems based on digital transformation, including the use of artificial intelligence in financial services, cybersecurity, the participation of fintechs in the market, new business models in the insurance sector, regulation, compliance and banking. In addition to transforming the current financial and banking model, the proposal will also promote the inclusion of the population. Currently, 57% of the 1.4 billion Africans do not have a bank account.
To discuss the models to be adopted, the Banking Financial Service And Insurance (BFSI) Conference will be held on the 13th and 14th of September, in Maputo, Mozambique. The event will bring together specialists, executives and national and international government authorities with the purpose of presenting products and services that will guide the new model to be adopted.
The organization of the event awaits confirmation from representatives of the Ministry of Finance, Banco do Brasil and the National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES) and has already confirmed the participation of the Brazilian Association of Fintechs (ABFintechs). The entity’s executive director, José Prado, will offer perspectives on innovation, digital transformation and new business approaches within the scope of the BFSI event.
