Tiziano Ferro and husband Victor Allen divorce after 4 years of marriage. The announcement came as a surprise with a post published on Instagram, where the singer talks about a particularly painful moment and announces that he has to cancel all his commitments because “now my children are the priority”.
“As always, whether it is joy or pain, I give you my story. Because I wouldn’t know how to do otherwise, because I trust you”, begins the message which then explains: “For some time now a painful separation from Victor has begun. “I dealt with it in silence, protecting everyone’s confidentiality. We recently started divorce proceedings. It’s a delicate moment, in which all my attention is focused on protecting my two wonderful children, who currently spend most of their time at home with me. At this moment I cannot leave them and I cannot take them with me to Italy. For this reason, with great sadness, I am forced to cancel all the commitments made with you and with Mondadori to present my first novel: an appointment that I’ve been waiting for all my life.”
Tiziano Ferro then explains that he went on a tour against the advice of doctors, after his health problem. “I would never have canceled those concerts and I would never have deprived myself of meeting you again after 6 years, of singing and dancing together. This time, however, it’s different. It’s not about me and my health, it’s about two very young children and of their serenity”.
He then concludes by asking “immensely sorry. Your affection has always supported me in difficult situations and I am sure it will happen this time too: I trust in your good heart. This dark moment will pass and we will go back to singing and laughing, talking about my book, the my life… of our life. We will see each other anyway, even in the distance. I love you, Tiziano”.
