The President of the Transition, Head of State exchanges with Jean Ping

Libreville, September 21, 2023 – The President of the Transition, General Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguéma met today at the Palais Rénovation with Jean Ping.
The two personalities discussed the measures taken by the Transition Committee for the Restoration of Institutions (CTRI) in order to reorganize the country. Jean Ping welcomed Gabon’s transition process initiated by General Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguéma and took advantage of this meeting to express his availability.
Furthermore, the Head of State received Mays Mouissi Kinga, Minister of Economy and Participations. The member of the Transition government came to provide the Head of State with an update on the priority files and on the mechanisms put in place for the mobilization of State revenues with a view to financing the Transition, development projects and institutional reforms.
At the end of these discussions, the President of the Transition instructed the member of the government to do everything possible so that the priority measures announced by CTRI are effective within a reasonable time frame.
