“Moskvich” and “Lada” were in the top 5 most advertised car brands in 2023 in offline media (placements on TV, radio, in the press, as well as outdoor advertising were taken into account), follows from data from the research company Mediascope and the advertising agency Starlink .
According to Mediascope statistics, the leader in the share of advertising costs in the first half of 2023 was the Chinese Chery: it accounts for 24% of the total budgets of all auto brands. In 2nd place is Lada with 13% (AvtoVAZ brand), in 3rd place is Exeed (13%; owned by Chery). The fourth position, according to Mediascope calculations, was taken by the capital’s Moskvich with 12%, the fifth by Haval (12%; owned by the Chinese company Great Wall Motor). Mediascope did not disclose absolute figures.
