The airport of Hamburgto the north of Germanyordered this Monday the temporary cessation of takeoffs and landingsaccording to German media due toa bomb threat in connection with a flight from Iran.
“Due to federal police measures, takeoffs and landings are not possible in the short term. Flight delays may occur,” the airport operator announced through its social networks.
According to German media, The reason is an indication of a possible attack in relation to an aircraft coming from Tehran which landed at 12:20 local time in Hamburg.
The 199 passengers and 16 crew members were able to leave the plane.which has been moved to a special area of the airport to be inspected, according to the tabloid “Bild.”
The Police received information about the alleged attack this morning in an email and evaluate the situation as “serious.”
