Why is the color blue scarce in nature?

It is likely that the color blue in animals and plants attracts our attention more than normal, since it is unusual to find. Less than 10% of plants have this coloration, and it is even rarer in animals.

For some, this bright color is an attraction strategy and, therefore, a question of survival. But also, in nature, obtaining a bluish pigment is not achieved in the same way as other more common colors.
