Time.news – Damiano Michieletto will be the one to “invent” the billboard of Caracalla Festival 2025, year of the Jubilee. A new challenge and an unprecedented form of collaboration for the director and the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma. An idea and a project conceived in recent months, which saw Michieletto collaborate with the Capitoline Foundation for the filming of two of his shows: the Rigolettoscheduled in Caracalla last August, and the Julius Caesar in Egyptat the Costanzi these days in the Italian premiere.
“Working with an artist like Damiano Michieletto – says the superintendent Francesco Giambrone – is always a harbinger of very high stimuli. In the last period we have been fortunate enough to stage two of his shows, one of which is in Caracalla. Precisely from daily work and from time spent together, the idea of a collaboration based on a different type of creativity was born. His overflowing imagination and his formidable intuition seemed to us to be the ideal characteristics for the creation of a program of shows to be created in an articulated and seductive like that of the Baths of Caracalla”.
