Lucknow: Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav on Monday slammed Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for announcing BJP candidates in Uttar Pradesh. Akhilesh’s joke comes after the party revealed that Yogi will contest in Gorakhpur. He said it was enough to stay in Gorakhpur and not come back.

‘The BJP initially said that Yogi would contest from Ayodhya. Then came Madhura and Prayagraj. Now look … I liked it. There is no point in a yogi just staying there and coming from there to somewhere else. ‘- Akhilesh scoffed. Akhilesh said the BJP would get only 20 per cent of the seats and the SP would get the remaining 80 per cent.

In Uttar Pradesh, Akhilesh and his gang have come out against the BJP. In the last few days, five MLAs have left the BJP and joined the Samajwadi Party. Ministers Swami Prasad Maurya and Dharamsingh Saini were among those who resigned.
