The Federal Antimonopoly Service submitted for discussion to the expert council under the agency for the development of competition in the field of information technology the issue of disconnecting passengers and drivers from the Yandex.Taxi service. This follows from the agenda for the council meeting on October 16, which Vedomosti reviewed. The discussion of the topic at the meeting was confirmed to Vedomosti by a representative of the FAS.
According to him, “the proportionality of Yandex.Taxi LLC’s practice of blocking drivers and passengers in the Yandex.Taxi service for violating the terms of the offer” was discussed in connection with the receipt of complaints from citizens by the FAS.
